How soon will you find me?

One thing I am always very interested in, is how soon after launching a new website people will find it. To get new visitors, some promotion is probably needed. So, first of all I added this blog to several sites:

Google Search, so we will get indexed.
Technorati, although I think it’s losing it’s importance.
MyBlogLog, in my opinion a nice collection of weblogs.

To help you do the right stuff SEO-wise, there is the All In One SEO Pack WordPress plugin. Automatic Search Engine Optimization with just a few clicks.

Of course, a good RSS-feed might do some good. I decided to let FeedBurner take care of it for me. You should really use their plugin if you are blogging with WordPress. So, what else? Well, I used the Google Sitemaps Generator plugin for WordPress and added it to Google Webmaster Tools.

Now let’s see how y’all found your way here. Hmmm… how will I ever know… Ok, let’s use Google Analytics. :) Again, if you are on WordPress, there is a good plugin to put the Analytics code in your blog.
